Prof. Egidijus Aleksandravi\u010dius lecture \u201cArt and Artists Friendship During XIX Century\u2019s Spring of the Nations\u201d will discuss importance of artist organisations while modern Central European nation states were forming foundations of their national culture. Vytautas Magnus University professor E. Aleksandravi\u010dius is an author of more than 20 books, more than 100 articles, chairperson of various culture organisations and well-known intellectual.<\/p>\n<p>After the lecture, pianists Sonata and Rokas Zubovas and soprano Au\u0161ra Liutkut\u0117 will invite everyone to premiere of \u201cMikalojus Konstantinas \u010ciurlionis and Eugenij Morawski \u2013 friends at the crossroad of history\u201d concert. These two composers established their friendship in Warsaw Conservatory, later on they kept up their friendship strong by letters especially when \u010ciurlionis left to study in Leipzig. These letters allowed us to learn about their friendship, to find out about \u010ciurlionis support for Eugenij while studying.
