The evening, entitled \u201cChamber Spring\u201d will feature works of French composers and contemporary authors scored for harp, strings, flite and piano.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>On May 8 at 18:00<\/strong> \u010ciurlionis House begins new series of lectures-recitals \u201cSilhouettes of Sofia\u201d, devoted to the writer Sofija \u010ciurlionien\u0117-Kymantait\u0117. The first event will examine what were Sofia\u2019s contacts with symbolist art before meeting M. K. \u010ciurlionis. Lecture by Dr. Nida Gaidauskien\u0117 will be enriched by piano works of R. Strauss, S. Rachmaninov and K. Szymanowski performed by pianist Kszysztof Markewicz.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>On May 15 at 18:00<\/strong> \u010ciurlionis House continues the cycle of evenings-meetings with the National Prize for the Culture Winners \u201cVision of Lithuania today through the window of the \u010ciurlionis House\u201d. This time philosopher Nerijus Milerius in dialogue with writer and essayist Giedra Radvilavi\u010di\u016bt\u0117 will examine current spiritual and creative atmosphere of Lithuania. The evening will be broadcasted live via \u010ciurlionis House Facebook channel.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>On May 24 at 18<\/strong> \u010ciurlionis House together with Latvian Embassy in Vilnius will be holding an opening of the exposition of paintings by Latvian artist Alexanders Lukjanovs. The artist\u2019s daughter Jana Lodeholm, who currently resides in Stockholm, will be present at the opening.
