Čiurlionis House is celebrating the 100 anniversary of re-establishment of Lithuanian independent state with the series of expositions and evenings of discussion with recipients of the most prestigious Lithuanian cultural prize.
The Exhibition series entitled "National prize for the Culture recipients at the Čiurlionis House" in 2018 will feature artwork of Rūta Katiliūtė (National prize for Culture awarded in 2016), Arvydas Každailis (National prize for Culture awarded in 2002), Valentinas Antanavičius (National prize for Culture awarded in 1992), Vytautas Valius (National prize for Culture awarded in 1996), and Povilas Ričardas Vaitiekūns (National prize for Culture awarded in 1991).
The series of discussion evenings entitled "Vision of Today's Lithuania through the window of ČIurlionis House" will be hosted by philosopher Nerijus Milerius and will feature film director Audrius Stonys (National prize for Culture awarded in 2002), writer Giedra Radvilavičiūtė (National prize for Culture awarded in 2015), conductor Robertas Šervenikas (National prize for Culture awarded in 2005), actor and theatre director Valentinas Masalskis (National prize for Culture awarded in 1996), and architect Audrius Ambrasas (2016).
